A few openings remain for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s nationally renowned “Creative Retirement Exploration Weekend” workshop. The three-day session focusing on retirement lifestyle choices, specifically relocating, will be held from Friday, May 23, to Sunday, May 25, at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center.
“CREW” is a practical, action-planning workshop for individuals and couples that will help participants make concrete plans to enter and embrace retirement, whether they plan on moving to Western North Carolina or elsewhere. Those interested in moving to Asheville may choose to participate in an optional Sunday program that includes information sessions and small group tours.
“At the end of the weekend, we knew what issues were important to both of us and which issues we needed to discuss further,” said one participant. “CREW gave us the tools to have meaningful and heartfelt discussions about retirement.”
Early registration cost for “Creative Retirement Exploration Weekend” is $400 per person and includes all meals and materials. The optional Sunday program is an additional $50. Early registration ends May 1. For more information or to register, call 828.251.6140 or visit the OLLI website.
