“Israel and the US” is Topic of Next World Affairs Council Talk

“Israel and the U.S.” and the ongoing stressors on the relationship between the two nations will be the topic of the final “Great Decisions 2014” lecture, at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11 at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center.

The Great Decisions 2014 series is sponsored by the WNC chapter of the World Affairs Council, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNC Asheville, and the university's Department of Political Science.

Attorney and international relations scholar Heather Hawn, assistant professor of political science at Mars Hill University will present this lecture. Hawn also taught world politics classes at the University of South Carolina and practiced law for 10 years engaging in a pro bono practice involving immigration asylum petitions.
