Tickets Now Available for UNC Asheville’s Sept. 14 Farm-to-Table Dinner on the Quad

UPDATE, AUG. 25, 2017: Tickets for the public are now sold out. Some tickets for students remain available. 

UNC Asheville’s third annual Farm-to-Table Dinner on the Quad will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, and tickets for the dinner are on sale, now through Sept. 4.

The dinner will be hosted by UNC Asheville Chancellor Mary K. Grant and will feature music, discussion and activities as well as food from campus gardens and area farmers.

“This annual event brings together hundreds of diners, food producers, and food justice activists to celebrate the land that sustains us, the gardens and businesses that feed us, and our collective efforts to nourish the entire community sustainably,” said Sonia Marcus, UNC Asheville director of sustainability.

The theme for the menu and programming at this year’s Farm-to-Table Dinner will be migration, considered from cultural, historical, ecological and political perspectives, accenting the region’s continually changing populations of people, as well as animal and plant species.

Tickets for the dinner are $28, available online-only at the UNC Asheville Office of Sustainability website.
