UNC Asheville Family Business Forum to Present 20 Best Practices in Family Business with Wayne Rivers on Oct. 19

Wayne Rivers, co-founder and president of The Family Business Institute will give a presentation – 20 Best Practices in Family Business – on Thursday, Oct. 19. This event, part of the regular series of workshops presented by UNC Asheville’s Family Business Forum (FBF), begins with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 11 a.m., and takes place in the Sherrill Center on campus, in the Ingles Mountain View Room.

A blogger for The Wall Street Journal’s “The Experts,” Rivers also is a frequent commentator in other national print and broadcast media. He is the author of four books, including Our Family Business Crisis: and How It Made Us Stronger, published in December. Rivers has done workshops at many corporations and professional associations, and he runs AGC PRO, a member benefit program of The Associated General Contractors of America.

20 Best Practices in Family Business is free to FBF members and first-time FBF attendees, and $99 for all others. Register online to attend the workshop at fbf.unca.edu/register.
